We consider a healthy neighborhood to be one that is safe, clean, and diverse; one in which it makes economic sense for people to invest and one where neighbors manage change successfully.

The Renaissance at Sanger Heights is a mixed-income, pocket-neighborhood designed to foster connection, and opportunity. This community is being built through generosity — from transformational legacy gifts to everyday donations that move the project forward brick by brick.
There are several meaningful ways to give. No matter the size, every contribution plays a role in bringing this vision to life.
We are offering a limited number of legacy sponsorship opportunities for donors who want to make a transformational impact on the Renaissance at Sanger Heights.
Available sponsorships include:
Naming rights for a neighborhood park – $100,000 (2 available)
Naming rights for a community gazebo – $50,000 (2 available)
Custom bronze plaque on a dedicated Garden Bench – $10,000 (10 available)
Engraved Heritage Brick installed in the park and an original schoolhouse brick to keep – $250 (500 available)
Not all support looks the same — and it doesn’t need to.
Whether you give $25 or $2,500, your donation helps create safe homes, shared spaces, and a stronger community at Sanger Heights.
Together, these gifts — large and small — are what make the Renaissance possible.

In a pocket neighborhood, the shared green space is more than a park—it is the community’s living room. It is where neighbors gather, children play, and lifelong bonds form.
We offer two exclusive opportunities to name these central sanctuaries. With a lead gift of $100,000, your legacy will be woven permanently into the daily lives of Waco families, creating a safe harbor for generations to come.
A gazebo is the visual anchor of a pocket neighborhood—an inviting landmark that draws people out of their homes and into the community.
Secure the naming rights for one of our two signature gazebos with a $50,000 gift. Your contribution will create a beautiful, lasting structure that provides shade and sanctuary, serving as a permanent reminder of your generosity at the center of daily life.
In a close-knit community, life happens outdoors. A bench invites you to slow down, enjoy a morning coffee, or watch grandchildren play on the green. It turns a walkway into a place of connection.
We have 10 opportunities to sponsor these essential resting spots. With a $10,000 gift, your name (or that of a loved one) will offer a welcoming place for neighbors to pause and appreciate the community you helped build.
Every path is made of individual steps, just as every community is made of individual neighbors. We invite you to add your name to the winding pathways that connect our new pocket parks.
With a $250 donation, your personalized brick will become a permanent part of the neighborhood walk. As a special token of gratitude, you will also receive an historic brick salvaged from the original schoolhouse that once stood on these grounds.
Limited to 500 Bricks. Join us in laying the groundwork for something beautiful.

For generations, this land served as a center of learning and gathering for Waco. Today, we honor that history by transforming the former schoolhouse site into a vibrant, intentionally designed pocket neighborhood. By orienting homes around shared green spaces rather than asphalt, we are moving away from fences that separate us and returning to a lifestyle where neighbors truly know and look out for one another.
To bring this vision to life, we must build the “common ground,” the shared infrastructure that turns a development into a home. This capital campaign is dedicated to funding the heart of the neighborhood: lush parks, welcoming gazebos, and winding pathways that will knit this community together. These spaces are not merely amenities; they are the neighborhood’s living room, the stage where daily life will unfold, and the place where the spirit of the original schoolhouse will endure.
We invite you to leave your permanent mark on this landscape. Whether you choose to anchor the project with a lead-naming gift for a park, gazebo, or bench, or pave the way with a commemorative brick from our limited “Foundation Collection,” your contribution will be the catalyst for this new community. Please review the opportunities below to find the level of support that best reflects your legacy and your commitment to Waco’s future.
The finest tools to use, beyond a doubt, in leading little children are love and beauty.
