Having a house dedication is something we get excited about at Grassroots. We just celebrated with some of our newest homeowners in North Waco and it turned out to be a blessing for us all.
As most of you know, we are looking to plant homeowners in Waco to hold true to our vision of creating healthy neighborhoods. While we do pray over our empty lots before construction begins, and celebrate the day the house is completed, one of the most rewarding aspects of building homes is the house dedication. This is a time to bring friends, family, and the church together and celebrate what the Lord has done and will do through this new home.
When we dedicate a new home, we are inviting God to dwell among us, acknowledging this is ultimately His house and we are stewards of this blessing. We ask God to protect the home and those that live within from evil influences. Dedicating a home is a tangible reminder that God is present in all we do, and what He has given us, is to be used to bless those around us.
